Chinese New Year Celebration

Please join the Waukesha County Business Alliance and Golden Gate Restaurant as we ring in the Chinese New Year! The Year of the Pig will be celebrated with a free Lion Dance Show in the parking lot performed by the ShaoLin Center of Waukesha, music, firecrackers, Red Envelopes stuffed with Lucky Money ($1 to $100 bills - while they last) and bamboo 2019 calendars (while they last). Chinese New Year is the most celebrated and colorful Chinese event, the lunar new year 4717 begins on February 5, 2019, the celebration last for 7 days. Billions of people in China and around the world will take to the streets to celebrate the Chinese New Year with bell ringing, lighting of firecracker and watching lion dances.
