You are invited to attend the kick-off Grand Opening Weekend of the New Waukesha Maid-Rite Diner on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Owners Vance Skinner and Brendan Barrett are pleased to be partnering with the Food Pantry of Waukesha to help fight hunger throughout the community. A donation to the Food Pantry will be presented at the start of the event. Members of the Food Pantry Board, community leaders and others will be in attendance.
Maid-Rite, America’s 2nd oldest franchise, started in 1926 and is famous for its fresh ground beef loose meat sandwiches, pork tenderloins and chicken sandwiches that are all served on a warm steamed bun. In addition, the Waukesha location carries fresh gourmet salads, in-house smoked pork and turkey, wraps, Wisconsin cheese curds, onion tanglers, made to order chips and many other items, including sundaes, malts and shakes.
