The Waukesha County Center for Growth presents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and new business owners to learn both legal entity and tax business basics AND necessary techniques to overcome the fears associated with starting and running your own business.
Hear from legal and accounting professionals about the pros and cons of different legal structures, recordkeeping requirements, the tax implications of hiring an independent contractor vs. employee, important payroll matters and more. Knowledgeable tax specialists from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue will discuss federal and state taxes, including payroll, unemployment compensation and sales taxes. We will also have a business leadership coach on hand to help attendees address the Wall of Fear that can inhibit one’s success.
