The mission of Norris is to strengthen youth and families by providing a circle of care, a continuum of education, support and treatment availability. Since 1917, Norris has been a premier provider of services to youth and families throughout Wisconsin. Today, the Norris campus is almost 900 acres of treatment, educational and recreational space that provides a calm environment for youth and families to heal and grow. With a focus on relationships and trauma informed care, we are a connection that gives children and families the safety to tell and understand their story, the impact it has and gives them hope that the possibilities for the future are endless.
The Norris Residential Treatment Program provides treatment, education, and therapeutic recreational services for boys ages 12-17 and their families. The Beyond Fostering Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program provides clinical interventions within the context of a licensed treatment foster family provided to children with significant behavioral, emotional and/or medical challenges. Foster homes are licensed at a 3 or 4 certification level for treatment foster care to accept foster care placement or respite. In addition to treatment and educational programming, Norris includes physical and wellness activities into each day in an effort to keep the boys active, motivated and working together. Norris also makes our facilities available to our partners and community. Please visit www.norriscenter.org to learn more.
