Wisconsin Independent Learning College, Inc.
- Nonprofit & Community Organizations
Wisconsin Independent Learning College, Inc or WILC is a private 501(c) 3 educational nonprofit post secondary training day program serving adults with autism who desire continued learning; assisting them in reaching their goals for independence. We believe that people with Autism Spectrum Disorders are intelligent and valuable members of society. It is our mission to provide each student with the necessary supports so that he/she may not only have a successful daily living skills, prevocational/vocational learning experience but also become inspired to achieve their purpose in life. We provide daily living skills, communication, sensory self regulation, lifelong recreation/exercise, prevocational and vocational programs and training to help our students become independent working citizens in their home communities. We provide services for individuals living in southeastern Wisconsin, aged 18 to 30, women and men with autism.
