Kingbird Real Estate has chosen MSI General for the design and construction of a four-story, 95 room hotel near the southwest corner of Meadow Lane and Marshview Street in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The project is scheduled to begin this Summer.

The hotel will be southeastern Wisconsin’s first avid Hotel. avid Hotel is a new Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) brand launched in 2017.
Avid Hotel joins other prestigious IHG brands that include Kimpton Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Hotel Indigo among others. IHG developed the avid Hotel brand to serve a unique niche in the marketplace that emphasizes modern architecture, efficient amenities and an exceptional sleep experience. Designed for the modern traveler, the building features bold colors, quality building materials and design articulation critical to identifying the property as an avid Hotel in the hospitality space. The hotel features 95 rooms containing either King beds (46 rooms) or two Queen beds (49 rooms). The lobby space features a retail-like market, all day coffee and water station, breakfast beacon, fitness center, public restrooms, front desk and back of the house services.
