Consolidated Construction Announces New Projects

Appleton, Wis.Consolidated Construction Co., Inc., a full service design/build firm headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin announces new projects locally and across the U.S.

Fox Valley Spring Company in Greenville, Wis., will expand its manufacturing facility by 21,000 square feet and its office by 3,500 square feet. The company manufactures springs, stampings and wire forms.

Consolidated Construction has been selected to provide architectural and construction services, with project completion scheduled for February, 2018. Site work has commenced at the site located at N912 Craftsmen Drive in Greenville.

Jim Perras, the project director and principal at Consolidated Construction stated, “We’ve served Fox Valley Spring many years, building their original 15,000 square foot facility in 1994 and expansions in 1998 and 2011. It’s been exciting to see one of our local manufacturers grow exponentially so quickly.”

Jason Pettitt is the project manager and Ray Meulemans is the site superintendent on the Fox Valley Spring project. Curtis Schroeder is the architect.

Xperience Fitness Group, headquartered in Appleton, Wis., selected Consolidated Construction to renovate the former Gold’s Gym at 1555 Queens Drive in Woodbury, Minn. 5,000 square feet of the 35,000 square foot fitness center will undergo improvements, including the lobby and locker rooms. The new Xperience Fitness Woodbury is located in the Woodbury Village shopping center and will be complete in December. Stephen Emmons is the project manager and Jeff Ambrosius is site superintendent.

Aqua-Doc Ltd. of Big Bend, Wis. will be adding 8,500 square feet to their manufacturing assembly and paint facilities at W224 S8660 Industrial Ave. Consolidated Construction is providing architecture and construction services to the maker of marine rail systems, piers and floating docks. Construction is scheduled for completion in February, 2018. Andy Wilke is the project manager and Curtis Schroeder is the architect.

Consolidated Construction is demolishing the former Starlite Motel and will build a new Sleep Inn & MainStay Suites dual brand hotel by Choice Hotels in Spokane, Wash. The dual brand concept joins two brands in one building to maximize cost efficiency in construction and operations. It also offers amenities of both brands to guests, allowing the hotel to meet the needs of nearly any travel occasion. The Spokane Sleep Inn – MainStay hotel will be conveniently located near the Spokane International Airport, off Interstate 90 and South Grove Road. When completed the 3-story hotel will feature 87 guest rooms in 51,000 square feet and will include an indoor pool, exercise facilities, single lobby, community room, guest laundry and marketplace. Demolition is expected to be complete and construction is set to begin in October. The project is scheduled to finish by the end of July, 2018 with the hotel’s grand opening in August. The project manager is Rick Davenport and site superintendent is Steve Kynast. 

Consolidated Construction has also recently signed contracts for three projects in North Dakota. The company will be renovating the Pella Windows & Doors showroom and the Eide Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership showroom in Bismarck. Both projects are scheduled for completion in December.

The Maple Valley School District of Tower City, N.D. selected Consolidated Construction to renovate and construct a 15,200 square foot addition to its high school. The mechanical upgrades, improvements and addition will improve the school’s security, accessibility, energy efficiency, and allow for 21st Century Education methods. A groundbreaking was held Friday, August 25, and the project is scheduled to be completed May 1, 2018.
