Hamacher Resource Group’s Wendland Invited to Join GMDC’s Education Leadership Council

February 05, 2019
Waukesha, Wisconsin, January 31, 2019 – Hamacher Resource Group’s (HRG) vice president of strategic relations, Dave Wendland, has been asked to join Global Market Development Center’s (GMDC) Education Leadership Council (ELC). The ELC provides strategic direction for retail insights and next practices and is made up of wholesaler, distributor, retailer, supplier, and service company representatives.

Mark Mechelse, vice president of insights and communication at GMDC, said, “Dave was nominated to join GMDC’s Education Council due to his long history with the association and strategic partnership across many of our “next practice” reports that inspire retailers to activate against future trends. He is an integral part of our mission to educate GMDC members and deepen trading partner relations. As a thought leader and author of GMDC’s Selfcare Roadmap initiative, Dave will deliver vision and experience as a complement to the other council members.”

“I’m honored to be asked,” stated Wendland. “This is an elite group of retail supply chain leaders and I look forward to collaborating with them. HRG is a strong supporter of GMDC’s unique position in the industry and we are aligned in our thinking about the future of health care, self care, and innovation across the retail supply chain.”
