The new location will allow us to streamline our buying process, putting more money back in to the hands of local musicians in exchange for the equipment that they no longer use,” said Skott Moriarti, President of Music Go Round in Greenfield.
To celebrate, the store will be hosting a groundbreaking event on Monday May 8th at 12pm. Golden shovels will be on hand, along with a few guitars to smash in the style of christening a new ship!
“We were very excited to see Music Go Round present plans to re-develop the out lot at Greenfield Place. Their design takes cues from 84 South and will give the corner a much needed facelift,” said Mayor Neitzke.
“The Mayor of Greenfield, Michael Neitzke, has been extremely supportive of our business over the years, and most recently our plans to expand. It’s a real positive as a business owner to see our elected officials working hard to facilitate growth,” said Moriarti.
Commercial Property Associates, Inc., a Milwaukee based commercial real estate brokerage, represented Music Go Round in the acquisition of the property. Ross Koepsel, a partner of the firm, has worked with Music Go Round since doing their first deal together in 2003. “I continue to be impressed with the growth and success Skott and Ken. Music Go Round has selected MSI General Corporation to design and construct a complete interior and exterior renovation to accommodate its new retail space. “We’ve worked with Music Go Round on their last two leased spaces, and we are excited to partner on this landmark project with them,” said John Kutz, Project Executive at MSI General.
“It can be frustrating trying to sell your gear to strangers that you ‘meet’ online, but we’re real people who are here all day, every day to buy your used gear,” said Ken Siegel, Vice President of Music Go Round in Greenfield. “Our store also carries a broad inventory of new accessories from all of the major brands and vendors. Regardless of new or used, we have product in our store for every type of musician,” added Siegel.
