Waukesha State Bank Announces Promotions

Waukesha State Bank, a 13 branch independent community bank in Waukesha County, is proud to announce the promotion of Stasia Kruesel to bank manager of its Muskego office and Jose Velez to bank managers of its E. Main Street office in Waukesha. In addition, Keith Shepard, current assistant vice president – bank manager at E. Main Street will be transitioning to the new Waukesha State Bank Menomonee Falls office, which is currently under construction and set to open this summer.
 
In their new positions, Kruesel, Velez and Shepard will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations, including business development, personnel management, customer service, lending, relationship management and community service at their respective offices.

Stasia Kruesel starter her career with Waukesha State Bank in 2013 and has supported our Oconomowoc, Silvernail Road and Pewaukee offices in roles ranging from teller to teller supervisor and personal banker. She is looking forward to building relationships and serving the needs of the Muskego community.
 
Jose Velez started with Waukesha State Bank in 2017 as a personal banker at the Downtown Waukesha office and has over 16 years of management and banking experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico – San German and is active in his community volunteering with Iglesia Renacidos en Cristo, Iglesia Metodista Luz a las Naciones, Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer and Iglesia Tempo de Restauracion.
 
Keith Shepard joined Waukesha State Bank in 2005 as a part-time employee serving in a number of roles while attending college. After earning his bachelor’s degree in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Shepard began his full-time banking career as a floating teller. Over the years, he has taken on increasing roles and responsibilities including customer service representative, assistant teller supervisor, personal banker, and teller supervisor before being promoted to bank manager of the former Silvernail Road office in 2011. He became bank manager of the E. Moreland Blvd. office in 2012 and transitioned when that office was replaced with a new location on E. Main Street in 2015. Shepard is active in his local community as a member of the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s Young Professionals Committee and as a volunteer with Secure Futures.
