Doering&Co. has been supporting worthwhile causes throughout Southeastern Wisconsin since its inception in 2015. In particular, they have an active partnership with Children’s Wisconsin and United Way of Racine County. Doering&Co. contributes a percentage from every property closing, then adds a company match to that amount at the end of each year. “Our team is all about doing something positive that’s bigger than ourselves. What we do in our community makes us better people and better professionals who can make a real impact in the areas we serve,” noted Jeremy Doering, Principal/Broker of Doering&Co. Real Estate.
Promoting Care at Children’s Wisconsin
Children’s Wisconsin was founded more than 125 years ago by the community and relies on community support to realize its vision that Wisconsin’s kids will be the healthiest in the nation. But for Jeremy Doering, the connection to Children’s is personal.
Before aligning his company with Children’s, Jeremy was a member of Leaders Who C.A.R.E.—a highly engaged donor network comprised of professionals and community leaders who make a difference for kids through fundraising, networking, volunteering, and advocating for Children’s. “Once I realized the time and effort this group was spending to enrich the lives of children and families, I naturally wanted in,” recalled Doering.
Shortly afterwards when Doering became a father himself, Children’s mission really resonated with him. “I realized how important is was to strive for a cause greater than what’s in front of me because what we do today will shape a child’s life forever.”
In addition to donating a portion of every transaction to Children’s Wisconsin, the Doering&Co. Team volunteers at Miracle Marathon, Children’s radiothon fundraiser where patients and families share their powerful stories of hope and healing. They also participate in Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s, a longstanding Milwaukee tradition.

Supporting Neighbors at United Way of Racine County
Ever since Doering&Co. opened its Racine location in November 2019, partnering with United Way of Racine County was a perfect fit. “Our company is centered around culture, community, and commitment. Because of this we’re an advocate for education, preparation, and accountability in the workforce, which is what United Way of Racine does for the individuals, families, and children it supports,” noted Doering.
The United Way Team met with the Doering Team to introduce them to their work and show them how they can make an impact, whether that be through volunteerism, financial support, or a comprehension of community needs. According to Ali Haigh, President and CEO of United Way of Racine County, Doering&Co’s support of the Greater Racine community has been exceptional since day one. “Their commitment of time, talent and treasure makes them a wonderful example of United Way’s philosophy to LIVE UNITED.”
