Schenck to move into new building in Wauwatosa

July 11, 2018
WISCONSIN – Schenck SC, a full-service regional accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce it has signed a lease to become the anchor tenant of Muir Woods Research & Technology Center, a new office development to be built in Wauwatosa’s Milwaukee County Research Park.
The three-story, 85,000-square-foot office building, being developed by Irgens, will be located at 10415 W. Innovation Drive. Schenck will occupy the third floor at more than 28,000 square feet. The building, located near the Milwaukee County Zoo and Froedtert Hospital, will feature a fitness center, a level of heated parking spaces and a walking trail in close proximity.
“With this move, we’ll be centrally located in the Milwaukee metro area and easily accessible to clients,” said Terry Strittmater, CPA, managing shareholder of Schenck’s Milwaukee office. “In addition, the new space will be large enough to accommodate our existing Brookfield and Milwaukee offices, with plenty of room for growth.”
Schenck SC merged in Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp SC on July 1, 2018, and currently has three offices in the greater Milwaukee market, including in Milwaukee at 11414 West Park Place, Suite 200, and in Brookfield at 235 N. Executive Drive, Suite 160. The Oconomowoc office, at 1040 Oconomowoc Parkway, will remain in operation.

“Our growth has better positioned us to support our clients,” said Daniel Young, CPA, CVA, president of Schenck. “As a combined team nearly 700 strong, we’ll provide enhanced resources to our clients in the greater Milwaukee area and beyond.”
Groundbreaking is slated for August 2018, with building completion expected in June 2019.
Irgens is a commercial and healthcare real estate developer headquartered in Milwaukee, with offices in Chicago and Phoenix. The firm provides comprehensive development and property management services to clients throughout the United States.
“We are honored to have Schenck anchor this project,” said Tom Irgens, vice president of Irgens. “The Milwaukee County Research Park development has quickly become a highly desirable option for businesses in the technology and professional services sectors looking for an accessible location that also features many amenities found in a downtown Milwaukee setting.”
