SCORE announces business training workshops for October 2018

MILWAUKEESCORE Southeast Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization offering workshops and mentoring to startups and existing small businesses, is presenting four business training workshops in the month of October.
 
October 6 – How to Write a Business Plan (Module 2 of 3) – Frank Sherman, SCORE Mentor
October 13 – Human Resources Basics for Small Business – Rebecca Lopez, Godfrey & Kahn
October 20 – How to Write a Business Plan (Module 3 of 3) – Frank Sherman, SCORE Mentor
October 27 – Financial Statement Basics – Neil Narveson, Real Wealth Tax & Accounting
 
The sessions are held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ottawa University, 245 S. Executive Dr., Brookfield.
 
“SCORE’s business training workshops are specifically designed to address the key areas necessary to start and grow successful companies,” says Jim Injeski, SCORE Southeast Wisconsin chapter chair. “Our volunteer members are experienced in business and want to help small business owners, whether they are a startup or need guidance transforming an existing business.”
 
Registration for SCORE workshops opens approximately 30 days before the scheduled event. The cost is $35 per attendee. The second person who attends a SCORE workshop from the same business will receive a $15 discount.
