The Employer of Year recognizes private-sector businesses that have achieved excellence in leadership, employee engagement and training, social responsibility, and workforce development partnership. Royce Hix, Controller at Snider Mold Company, Mequon, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
“It is a great honor to be recognized with the WOW Workforce Development Board’s Employer of Year Award,” Hix said. “We rely on the Board as a pillar of our overall HR strategy. We regularly brainstorm ideas and actionable initiatives on hiring, training, and retaining employees. Our partnership with them on multiple training programs has been immensely successful for us, and we look forward to continue working with the team.”
Snider Mold was selected for:

We recognize and are glad they have utilized the on-the-job training program where they have created custom training plans for local workforce to gain new or additional skills and become proficient and valued employees. Snider is well-deserving of this year’s Employer of the Year award,” said Laura Catherman, Director, WOW Workforce Development Board.
