ST. JOSEPH’S MEDICAL RAISES NEARLY $115,000 AT 40TH BIRTHDAY ANNUAL GALA EVENT

On October 21st, St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic, a free clinic providing medical care to uninsured and underinsured community members in Waukesha County, hosted its annual fundraiser and gala at the Milwaukee Marriott West. Nearly 265 supporters of the clinic celebrated the organization’s 40th birthday. As the oldest free clinic in the state of WI, the clinic has a diverse history founded in compassion, inclusion, and the mission to increase access to primary care.
The clinic raised nearly $115,000 to help the clinic expand its services and programs and to support the effort to look for a new facility. This critical funding helps to cover operational and program costs. While the clinic focuses on providing medical care for low-income and uninsured individuals and family members, the underinsured continues to grow. St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic is able to assist Waukesha County community member unable to access healthcare. St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, assists uninsured or underinsured individuals and operates with a small core staff and volunteer medical providers from local healthcare systems.
