Von Briesen & Roper, S.C. Welcomes Three Attorneys

Von Briesen & Roper, s.c. announced today that three lawyers have joined the firm: Joshua B. Cronin, John A. Rubin and Brian J. Seidl.

Attorney Joshua B. Cronin is a shareholder in the Litigation & Risk Management Practice Group, as well as in the Divorce and Family Law Section in the Milwaukee and Waukesha offices. Cronin’s family law practice focuses on divorce meditation. His experience as a former Family Court Commissioner in Waukesha County provides him with a unique perspective in working with families through a divorce. Cronin’s litigation and risk management practice focuses on property, casualty, bad faith and insurance coverage matters on behalf of businesses and insurance companies in State and Federal courts.

He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Northeastern University. Attorney John A. Rubin is a member of the Labor and Employment Section in the Waukesha office. Prior to von Briesen, he served as a Field and Trial Attorney for the National Labor Relations Board for nearly a decade where he regularly investigated and litigated unfair labor practice and representation cases. This experience enables Rubin to advise clients on all aspects of labor relations.

He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee and Waukesha County Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. Rubin received a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida.

Attorney Brian J. Seidl is a member of the Government Law Group and Employment Section in the Madison office. Before joining von Briesen, Seidl served as an intern for Justice Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and as a Clinical Law Student with the Neighborhood Law Clinic at the University of Wisconsin. Prior to entering the legal community, Seidl served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps for nearly 11 years.

Seidl is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Dane County Bar Association. Seidl received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. from Marquette University.
