WAUKESHA COUNTY EXECUTIVE PAUL FARROW’S STATEMENT ON THE WISCONN VALLEY INNOVATION CENTER ANNOUNCEME

February 06, 2018
“Foxconn’s announcement of a new investment in the Milwaukee 7 (M7) Region emphasizes their commitment to the state. The Wisconn Valley Innovation Center’s impact will go far outside of Milwaukee’s borders by attracting and providing opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs throughout the region while cementing our reputation as a tech hub in the Midwest.

“We are fortunate to have a local company like Northwestern Mutual partnering with Foxconn to invest in the future of our region, and that they share a unified vision with state, local and regional leaders like Governor Scott Walker, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the Milwaukee 7, Racine County, the Village of Mount Pleasant, and everyone else who has worked together to make this economic vision a reality. This is what a true partnership looks like, and it is the key to continued statewide growth.”

Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow is a co-chair of the Milwaukee 7, the region’s economic partnership. County Executive Farrow recently led a group of private and public sector partners in establishing the Waukesha County Center for Growth, an economic development organization that serves as a one-stop shop for new and expanding businesses in Waukesha County.
