WAUKESHA COUNTY PARKS ANNOUNCES BEACH SEASON OPEN DATES

(Waukesha, WI) – Waukesha County Parks beach swimming season will open with a staggered start beginning Friday, May 25. The Swim at Your Own Risk beaches will open first and will be followed by lifeguard staffed beaches.
 
“Our beaches are a popular summer activity for both residents and visitors,” said County Executive Paul Farrow. “As the weather warms, we look forward to their openings!”
 
Waukesha County Parks Beach Schedule:


Swim at Your Own Risk (S.A.Y.O. R.) beaches open sunrise Friday, May 25:
  • Minooka Park, 1927 E. Sunset Drive, Waukesha – daily, sunrise to sunset
  • Mukwonago, Park, S100W31900 C.T.H. LO, Mukwonago – daily, sunrise to sunset
 
Lifeguard staffed beaches open 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2:
  • Fox Brook Park, 2925 N. Barker Road, Brookfield – daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Muskego Park, S83W20370 Janesville Road, Muskego – daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Naga-Waukee Park, 651 S.T.H 83, Hartland – daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 
Menomonee Lifeguard staffed beach opens 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16:
  • Menomonee Park, W220N7884 Townline Road, Menomonee Falls – daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • The newly renovated beach house, restrooms, and shower facilities will also be open
