Waukesha State Bank Promotes Nowak

WAUKESHA, Wis. (January 23, 2018) - Waukesha State Bank, a full-service community bank with 13 locations in Waukesha County, is proud to announce the promotion of Erika Nowak to vice president - controller.
 
“Erika’s promotion is reflective of the leadership she has shown as part of the finance team,” stated Ann Pascavis, Waukesha State Bank’s chief financial officer. “We look forward to her continuing contributions to the growth of Waukesha State Bank.”
 
Nowak has more than 20 years of experience in finance and banking and started her career with Waukesha State Bank in 2010 as controller. After leaving the bank briefly in 2015, she returned in 2016 as a finance and operations analyst and was promoted to controller in 2017. With her promotion to vice president - controller, Nowak will continue to be responsible for directing the staff and operations of the finance department, which includes analysis of the Bank’s financial information on a daily basis.
 
Nowak is a certified public accountant and earned her master’s of business administration degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and her bachelor’s of business administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
 
Nowak values community involvement. She currently serves as treasurer for Sunbeam Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to organizing and providing resources for kids and families to volunteer together. She and her family currently reside in Delafield.
