WCTC to host economic summit Deficit, Division & Dysfunction: A Conversation with Paul Stebbins Oct
The event, Deficits, Division and Dysfunction: A Conversation with Paul Stebbins, will focus on the current perilous fiscal and political environment. Stebbins, who is chair emeritus of World Fuel Services Corporation, will discuss how trillion dollar deficits are set to return within the next two years, along with the already record high national debt set to skyrocket over the coming decade. Stebbins has been involved with Campaign to Fix the Debt, a nonpartisan movement designed to put America on a better fiscal and economic path, and he is active with the campaign’s political reform efforts.
A question and answer period will follow the discussion.
