Wisconsin Philharmonic “Four Seasons at the Rustic Manor” featuring violinist Lara St. John

Join the Wisconsin Philharmonic as they open their 2018/2019 season “Tapestry of Music” with violinist, Lara St. John at the Rustic Manor 1848 in Hartland. A new performance venue for the Philharmonic, the Rustic Manor is a perfect place for the orchestra to perform Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons as the audience experiences the beautiful backdrop of the changing fall colors. The concert will be held on Thursday, September 27th @ 7:30 pm at the Rustic Manor. Seating is general admission and costs $50 per ticket. Doors open at 6:30 pm and we will begin with a pre-concert conversation with the Music Director, Alexander Platt, about the classical music you will be hearing that evening.

Discover the magic of the music behind the movies! The Philharmonic’s season continues with a concert on Nov. 2nd at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center, “Friday Flix: Classic Hollywood Scores,”  a concert centered around the classic movie scores by John Williams and several family-friendly activities beforehand with Discovery World’s Kohl’s Design-It Labs. “My Favorite Things; Joyful Sounds of Christmas” is the holiday tradition that the Philharmonic continues at Shattuck Music Center at Carroll University on December 4th with the Brusubardis Family and several local choirs. On St. Patricks Day, Sunday, March 17th, “Celtic Fire - Irish Music & Dance” is a celebration not to be missed with guest artist Julian Rhee on violin and the Trinity Irish Dancers as they perform classic and contemporary Irish music. The season concludes with “Classics in Bloom” on April 7th with pianist Andrew Russo providing a truly majestic program and our 2019 Shining Stars winners will join the orchestra for the monumental Sibelius Second Symphony.
