Blessings in a Backpack Waukesha County Chapter

Blessings in a Backpack Waukesha County Chapter mobilizes community volunteers, schools, government agencies, and businesses to provide weekend meals to school children who are facing food insecurity. We partner with local schools to deliver nutritious, child-friendly food to ensure that local children have food for the weekends. As of May 2024, Blessings of Waukesha provides food for almost 3400 school-aged children through 42 partner schools. It's estimated that nearly 15,000 children under the age of 17 in Waukesha County are suffering from food insecurity and not knowing where their next meal will come from!
